Acrostic sympathy occasion poem using letters from the deceased person's name

· Occasion,Sympathy,Faith,Acrostic,Encouragement

Juxtaposition of bitter and sweet—

Entertaining both proves a trying feat.

Receiving God’s judgement to claim kinfolk

Requires us to believe words that Paul spoke.

Yes, “to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

Leaving rewards fam but causes us pain.

Accept that our loved ones’ return to God

Manifests hope, though, the timing seems odd.

Open to God’s gift granting final rest,

Soothe your soul—know they lay homebound and blest.
