When your family gathers in one place,

Deem it a special occasion to embrace.

Once more, you get to view kinfolks alive.

Offer God thanks as each of them arrive. 

Who knows if this marks the last time meeting?

Give your relatives a heartfelt greeting.

Make them feel welcome like they would at home.

They could be plagued by a depression dome.

A few annoying habits just forbear.

Attempt to share a laugh while fam hangs there.

Render your people focused attention.

Strive to work through any dissension.

The kindred circle, allow love to mend.

Let apologies stay hard to pretend. 

Depart from each other on favored terms.

Members' value to the clan, hope affirms.
